American singer/songwriter Tory Ruperto, launched her solo career in January 2018 with her debut EP, Ruined. Born in Long Island, New York, Tory grew up in a latin home surrounded by art and jazz. Raised by musicians, (her father a Berklee graduate and her mother a vocal coach), Tory naturally adopted music as her own and began writing songs by the age of 9. Refusing to box herself into any one sound or style, she pulls inspiration from many genres and artists. Those influences include Regina Spektor, Stevie Wonder, and Joni Mitchell. The young artist fuses R&B, future bass, and folk into a hybrid of progressive electro-pop.
